| Objectives | Having problems coming up with intriguing concepts for your art or design project ? |
| This seminar seeks to help participants use philosophical ideas as strategies for conceptualizing and making art and design. The participants will be introduced: 1. To philosophical ideas and relating them to art and design 2. To use and develop these ideas into intriguing concepts for the art or design project 3. To use and develop these ideas into art making and design strategies 4. To introduce the notion of Concept and Meta-concept for their project 5. To help participant develop a personal art or design philosophy Content The seminar will be conducted by informal discussion and lecture led by the course facilitator surrounding a particular primary text that seek to illuminate the topic of the week. The participants have the option to read the primary text for the week's discussion or to just participate in the discussion. | |
